Diane Feldman

M.A., Musical Director, Theatre Educator

Diane is an award-winning director, musical director, accompanist, private coach and theatre educator who has been committed to providing professional training, education, leadership and inspiration through Theatre for more than 30 years.

After creating, building and directing the Drama Camp at Cheviot Hills Recreation Center in Los Angeles (which remains in operation today!), Diane founded her award-winning, Children's Civic Light Opera Theatre Company (affectionately known as, CCLO), which evolved into the Los Angeles area's most celebrated, most comprehensive performing arts program for youth. She created the after-school musical theatre program at PS87 in New York, the award-winning after-school Mini-Players theatre program at Westwood Charter Elementary School, and the after-school performing arts program at Culver City Middle School which won a $10,000 GLEE: Give-A-Note Award under her direction. (All programs remain in operation today!)

In Fall 2020, she is excited to launch a new online Theatrical Resource, as well as a new, updated theatre company that will include opportunities for emerging, evolving and enduring artists age 3 - 103!

Diane is also a proud member of Actor's Equity Association. Whether handing artists their very first theatrical building blocks, preparing students for college auditions and Broadway tours, or bringing stories to life on stage as a director or as an actress, Diane celebrates the unique energies, strengths and vulnerabilities of every person with whom she works. She treats each process as its own distinctive journey, and each production as a premiere.

Diane believes the art and craft of theatre is one of the most powerful tools and most transformative resources we have to provide social, emotional, personal, academic and artistic growth and discovery.
